Conducting trials may be necessary where specific requirements apply, and offers the opportunity to test and evaluate the production process and the end result before implementation at the customer’s production site.
This can be done without any pressure to release the reserved machines and production lines back into series production as quickly as possible.

Through in-depth technical analysis, customer requirements are aligned with what is technically feasible at an early stage of the project. For gravostar, as a solution provider, the only thing that matters is the successful implementation at the customer’s site. For specialised applications, preliminary testing may also be required to ensure a successful introduction into the production process.
With this service from gravostar, the test tools are made available for a specific period and, depending on the project, are also supported by gravostar’s application engineering team.

After-sales service is a key component of our range of services. We offer a repair and maintenance service for most of our tools, ensuring they remain fully functional even after many years of use. Thanks to our extensive spare parts inventory and well-established service processes, we can achieve very short repair times when required.
We also supply your production with the necessary consumables, such as milling cutters, brushes, etc., using a tailored approach to ensure their availability at all times.
Machinery and tooling suppliers often focus on retrofitting existing CNC machines to increase automation, enable multi-machine operation and reduce factors such as noise and pollution. This applies to both traditional batch production and variable production runs with automatic workpiece changeover. This also includes conversion to new production parts and the supply of complete tooling packages by manufacturers.
For CNC machine manufacturers, the integration of additional production steps ideally takes place right from the design stage of new systems. A holistic approach is crucial here: either only the necessary machining steps are carried out and reworking is outsourced, or complete machining is carried out, including additional operations. Both options require a careful assessment of investment costs and machining time.
System integrators focus primarily on deburring and reworking of production parts, often using robots. This places high demands on the tools, particularly when working with components that have tight tolerances. Whilst pneumatic spindles have often been used in the past, electrically operated high-frequency spindles offer a more energy-efficient alternative that pays for itself quickly, despite higher initial costs.
